Graphene spin-out founded

Cambridge Graphene Platform (CGP)  will commercialise  graphene inks based on  research work at Cambridge University, including a recent CIKC small grant. The new company has developed a scalable method of ink production from graphene and other layered nanomaterials. These nanomaterials have many interesting properties that make them promising for the printed and large area electronics industry. Layered, or two-dimensional (2D), materials can be conductive, semiconductive or insulating, depending on their types. Read more >>

Engineering Enterprise Fellowship for Dr Damian Gardiner

Damian Gardiner has been awarded an Engineering Enterprise Fellowship by the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng). Damian previously worked on the CIKC small grant PORTALS which enabled him to demonstrate the commercial potential of printed laser technology.  He is based at the Centre of Molecular Materials for Photonics and Electronics (CMMPE) and has substantial industrial and academic experience in the development of functional organic materials for optics and electronics.
